As graphic designers in the wedding industry, we are highly inspired by every element of "the big day:" from colors, and moods to textiles and living accents (florals!).
Every season, we take in the trends and embrace the themes our couples are excited to incorporate into their nuptials. However, there are always elements that inspire us more than others. After ten years in the industry, our keen eyes have accurately discovered directions that thrive and flourish. This coming Spring, there are 4 elements we want to see more of–in stationery, of course, but also across the board.

We've gone just as gaga over acrylic details as our neighbor, but our hearts have us gravitating towards more eco-friendly materials from save the dates to accents on the day-of.
2023 has every opportunity to bring forth eco-friendly options for couples and wedding planners alike. Wood doesn't have to be rustic, linens and canvas don't have to feel outdated, and repurposing items from your wedding deserves shouting from the rooftops... and, in the end, the OG always holds a place in the recycle bin: paper will never be overrated.
Neutrals aren't going anywhere anytime soon and for good reason. For Tied & Two, timelessness is high priority. We want to continue to see soft neutrals, and black and white monochrome themes, but we also want to see more of something we have a major passion for: color. You'll notice while we have a clean, modern style, we are not limited by minimalism when it comes to color.
Seeing a design you like but think it's not right for you because it's not photographed in your color palette is like house-hunting and ruling out a home because of the color of the paint on the walls.
For a curated, unique wedding suite, look to embellishments beyond your invitation. When a couple finds a design in our Etsy shop they love but wants to customize their experience, embellishments are an ideal solution if budget allows.
Classic wax seals can be customized by color, design, and placement. Methods of sealing like a vellum jacket, a twine wrap, or a simple paper belly band can add personality to any suite.
Speaking of vellum–one of our favorites for spring. Both brighten and add content in a fun way by adding a vellum overlay or accent for a unique touch.

Game of Thrones-themed or Edgar Allen Poe-inspired weddings may seem a bit much for lack of a better phrase, but we don't see why there's any reason for a couple to leave their passions behind on their wedding day.
Incorporating your favorite poem or lyrics from your favorite song in your stationery can be a subtle way to include some of your favorite things.
Keep an eye out for our next blog, where we'll dive deeper into the concept of how and where your favorite movies, TV shows, music, and/or novels have a place in a wedding.
